Know before you go

  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travellers littering may be fined.
  • Carry a water bottle so that you can refill.
  • Smoking and consumption of alcohol is prohibited throughout the trip
  • We will stick to our time schedule and we will not be waiting for any late running trains/buses. Please book your tickets accordingly.
  • ⁠No reimbursement will be provided for any services of the trip that remain unused.
  • Since this is a monsoon trip, it will not be canceled due to rain unless road conditions become impassable or travel is deemed unsafe. In the event of a cancellation for such reasons, our standard refund policy will apply — no refunds will be provided for cancellations caused by unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters, lockdowns, or other emergencies.
Itinerary

Day 1

Our adventure starts at 8:00 AM from Thampanoor Railway Station. After an hour’s drive to the trek starting point, we’ll begin our hike, equipped with drinking water and energy bars. We’ll descend to visit Madasseri Waterfalls, pause for lunch, then explore Erappankuzhi and Aanakulam Waterfalls. Finally, we’ll return to Thampanoor—with a possible visit to one more hidden gem in Amboori if time allows.

Why is the meeting point at Thampanoor Railway Station?

Since participants are joining from various locations, it’s convenient to meet at a central point.

Will I find travel companions from my city?

Yes! After registration and payment, you’ll be added to a group of fellow travelers, including those from your city.

 

Do I need to carry my bags throughout the trip?

Yes, please carry a small day pack with essentials like snacks and water during the walk.

Can children join the trip?

Yes, charges applicable as age
0-4yr – No payment (No seat)
Above 6yr same as adults

Can I get a refund if I cancel?

Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy, so please review it carefully before making any payments.

What is the level of trekking to Kalimala and how much is the distance?

Moderate and 600m in one side.

Am I allowed to bathe in the waterfalls?

No, but you can take a dip at Aanakulam Falls. Please note that there are no changing facilities available

What if I cancel my trips after paying the advance payment?

Refund is strictly on the cancellation policy. So kindly read it before making any payment

Cancellation Policy
  • For cancellations done prior to the 30 days or more of the date of departure, initial deposit amount or 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 29 days to 15 days prior to the date of departure, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 14 days to 8 days of the tour, 75% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done within 8 days of the tour, 100% cancellation charges will apply and you will receive no refunds.
  • No refund of money is admissible on cancellations due to any type of contingencies or unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to natural calamities, lockdowns, any covid induced scenarios or otherwise
