Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide and driver, who will transfer you to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. We’ll begin the day early with a beautiful sunrise at Angkor Wat, one of the world’s most famous and impressive temples. After that, we’ll return to the hotel for breakfast. Later in the morning, we’ll continue exploring the Angkor Archaeological Park, starting with the jungle-covered Ta Prohm, the peaceful Ta Nei, and the graceful Chau Say Tevoda temples. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom, where you’ll see the majestic city gates, the Baphuon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the mysterious Bayon temple with its many smiling faces. We’ll finish the day with sunset at Phnom Bakheng, offering panoramic views of the forest, surrounding temples, and Angkor Wat in the distance. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Cambodian dinner along with a classical Apsara dance performance—a wonderful way to experience local culture. After breakfast, we’ll travel to Phnom Penh by land to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Today after breakfast, we travel to Phnom Penh from Siem Reap. It will take us 6 hours bus ride roughly. We’ll stop twice for toilet break and lunch. Before arrival in hotel , we’ll visit Wat Phnom and Wat Ouknaloum Pagoda. After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll start with a visit to the Royal Palace, where you’ll learn about the Cambodian royal family and the country’s monarchy. Then, we’ll visit the National Museum, where you can see ancient statues and masterpieces and learn the stories behind them, dating back thousands of years. Next, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) to understand the tragic recent history of Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge regime. Later on, we’ll go to the Killing Fields, where you’ll learn about the impact of extreme political ideology and the heartbreaking stories of those who suffered. Finally, we’ll explore some local markets for souvenirs, snacks, or just to experience the daily life of the locals.
