  • Please stick to the time schedule as it's a two-day trip covering multiple destinations
  • We will not be waiting for late running trains and buses, please prepare and book accordingly
  • Please keep minimum luggage
  • Consumption of alcohol and smoking is strictly prohibited in our trip
  • Hot water facility is not available in the campsite toilets.
Itinerary

Day 1

09:00AM: Starting from Ernakulam South station
01:30PM: Check in to Thekkady (Ottakathalamedu) campsite and Lunch
03:00PM: Trek to the near by view point in the campsite
07:00PM: Dinner followed by campfire

Day 2

06:30AM: Check out from campsite and starting Jeep Safari to Gavi via Angamoozhy.
08:00AM: Breakfast and continue the drive
04:30PM: After jeep safari drop back to Vandiperiyar and continue the travel in tempo traveller to Kochi
10:30PM: Drop off to Kochi

FAQ

Why is the joining point is Ernakulam, why not anywhere in Kerala?

It’s always better to choose your own comfort mode of transport and make the trip more cost-effective. Also, not all are joining from Kerala, people from other states too joining. So, picking up from everywhere is not possible.

Will I get any companions to travel from my city?

Of course, once you register and pay, you will get added to the group of travelers who are in for this trip. There you can see other people travelling from your city.

Do we need to carry our bags everywhere?

No. During the stay, you can keep the bag in your room and Day 02, After check out keep the bags in tempo traveller

Can I take my kid along with me on this trip?

Yes but the charges depend on the age group.
Kids below 3yr: no charges and no seat or seperate bed
Above 5yr same as adults

Do I need to carry any blankets?

No campsite will provide pillows, blankets and other necessities for the stay.

Will, there be a signal for the mobile network

Not all places but still you can get connected with family.

After payment, if I cancel the trip, will I get a refund?

It’s strictly as per cancellation policy which is written below. So please read it before making any payment after registration

Will it be raining during this trip?

Yes, mostly as it’s a monsoon destination

Yes there is a small hike in the trip

Is there any EMI facility available?

Cancellation Policy
  • 30 Days or More Before Departure: Cancellation charges will be 25% of the tour cost.
  • Cancellations made between 29 and 15 days before departure will incur a 50% cancellation charge.
  • Cancellations made between 14 and 8 days before departure will incur a 75% cancellation charge.
  • Cancellations made within 8 days of departure will incur a 100% cancellation charge, with no refund provided.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural calamities, lockdowns, or any other contingencies.
