Know before you go

  • The destination we are travelling is not well established and the restaurants we find will be small and local foods will be available
  • Everyone should carry snacks or dry fruits on their own for the trek as we will be having the lunch late.
  • On an average speed for trek, we have calculated the arrival time at Mangalore. Unfortunately, if anyone in the team is not making up the pace with the entire team, we may be late to start. Consider this when you book your tickets from Mangalore
  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travellers littering may be fined.
  • Carry a water bottle so that you can refill
  • Smoking and consumption of alcohol is prohibited throughout the trip
  • We will not be waiting for any late running trains/buses to start the pick up. Please book your tickets accordingly
Itinerary

Day 1

11:30AM: Pick up from Mangalore/Junction railway station.
On the way stop for an early lunch and head to Devarmane with a stop at Charmadi Ghat View point. Evening we will reach at Home station. Over night at Kottigehara home stay

Day 02

06:00AM: Checkout from hotel and head to Rani Jhari. On the way we will stop for breakfast and after the Rani Jhari view point and then trek to Bandaje Falls starts. It’s a 10km up and down moderate trek. We will be reaching back and have a late lunch and head back to Mangalore.
08:00PM: Drop off at Mangalore central/junction railway station.

Why is Manglore the joining point?

As people are joining from different parts of India, it is difficult to manage them. So it’s better to choose your own comfort mode of transport and make the trip more cost-effective. Also, not all are joining from Kerala, there are people from other states too. So picking up from everywhere is not possible.

Refund is strict as per cancellation policy so kindly read the below-given cancellation policy before proceeding

Cancellation Policy
  • 30 Days or More Before Departure: Cancellation charges will be the initial deposit or 25% of the tour cost.
  • Cancellations made between 29 and 15 days before departure will incur a 50% cancellation charge.
  • Cancellations made between 14 and 8 days before departure will incur a 75% cancellation charge.
  • Cancellations made within 8 days of departure will incur a 100% cancellation charge, with no refund provided.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural calamities, lockdowns, or any other contingencies.
