Know before you go

  • Personal identification is mandatory to carry on tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reason like: election card, Driving License, Passport
  • In the region, scarcity of water & electricity is a natural phenomenon. Guests are requested to bear with such problems as may arise during the tour
  • Weather is unpredictable. Water crossing and road blocks are common in this route and this may result in change in itinerary.
  • This trip is to experience the road trip to the mountains. Please come with a mind to explore the same.
  • Mobile connectivity is very poor on initial days of the trip and later it will get better.
  • Because of any reason natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed
  • The advisable baggage limit is 1 rucksack per member.
  • During the trip, in case the roads are blocked due to landslides or a reason that is beyond control, we will rearrange the itinerary for the travellers real-time, however, the cost of alternative accommodation will be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies and are nonrefundable.
  • This is a long road journey involving extended travel hours each day. Amenities in this region are limited, including restaurant options. As this is not a typical tourist destination, the trip is best suited for travelers who wish to explore and experience the valley rather than expect conventional tourist facilities.

Itinerary

Day 01 (July 18)

Pick up from Delhi airport before 7PM (on request) and bus to Shimla between 08-09:30PM

Day 02 (July 19)

Morning pickup will be from the Shimla Volvo Bus Stand at 5:30 A.M., followed by transfer to the hotel. Three rooms will be provided for freshening up on arrival. Hotel check-in time is 11:00 A.M. The remaining rooms will be given at the scheduled check-in time of 11:00 A.M.

Breakfast will be served at 9:00 A.M.

At 12:30 P.M., guests will be picked up from the hotel for Shimla sightseeing, covering:

  • Ridge Maidan
  • Jakhu Temple

(To visit Ridge Maidan and Jakhu Temple, a government lift is required, which can be accessed from Mall Road.)

In the evening, Pick up from Mall Road and dropped back at the hotel.

Day 03 (July 20)

In the morning, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Narkanda. The overnight stay will be at Chitkul.
(Depending on weather conditions, the night stay may be at Sangla Valley or Chitkul.)

Day 04 (July 21)

Morning check-out from Chitkul, the last village of India. En route lunch stop at Reckong Peo. Overnight stay at Nako.

Day 05 (July 22)

Morning check-out from Nako. Visit Gue Monastery (Mummy Village). Overnight stay at Tabo.

Day 06 (July 23)

Morning check-out from Tabo. Sightseeing at Dhankar Monastery. Overnight stay at Kaza.

Day 07 (July 24)

Morning check-out from Kaza. Sightseeing tour covering Hikkim Post Village, Komic, Langza, Key Monastery, Kibber Village, and Chicham Bridge. Overnight stay at Losar.

Day 08 (July 25)

Morning check-out from Losar. Visit Kunzum Pass. Overnight stay at Chandratal.

Day 09 (July 26)

Morning check-out from Chandratal. Drive via Atal Tunnel and Solang Valley to Manali. Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 10 (July 27)

Sightseeing in Manali. In the evening, board the Volvo bus to Delhi.
(Volvo bus departure at 6:30 P.M.)

Day 11 (July 28)

Arrival in Delhi at 6:00 A.M. Transfer to the airport on request.

FAQ

Why the joining point is Delhi why not anywhere in Kerala ?

As people are joining from different part of India its difficult to manage them. So picking up from everywhere is not possible.

Will I get any companions to travel from my city?

Offcourse, once you register and pay, you will get added to the group of traveller who is in for this trip. There you can see other people who travelling from your city

Do we need to carry our bags everywhere?

No. During the stay at each places you can keep the bag at your room.

Do I need to carry any blankets?

No Hotels will provide pillows, blankets and other necessities for the stay

Can I take my kid along with me in this trip?

Yes , you can. Kids above 5yr is allowed and charges are same as adults

Is this trip included trekking?

No

Refund is strictly on cancellation policy so kindly read below given cancellation policy before proceeding

There will be stops/breaks for lunch as its not included in the package!?

Yes offcourse but don’t expect any luxury here as all stops will have small restaurants which serve Maggie, noodles, thupka and other North indian cuisines.

When to reach Delhi on Day 1?

You can book your flights or train reaching before 7PM at Delhi

When we will be reaching on Day 11 at Delhi?

If there is no traffic we may reach by 8AM or before that at Delhi. Recommend to book your flight or train afternoon that day

Monthly instalments are available?

  • For cancellations done prior to the 30 days or more of the date of departure, 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 29 days to 15 days prior to the date of departure, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 14 days to 8 days of the tour, 75% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges
  • ⁠For cancellations done within 8 days of the tour, 100% cancellation charges will apply and you will receive no refunds.
  • No refund of money is admissible on cancellations due to any type of contingencies or unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to natural calamities, lockdowns, any covid induced scenarios or otherwise
