Know before you go

  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.
  • Carry dry snacks/food, granola bars, etc. from home. Carry a regular and another insulated water bottle with you, so that you can refill.
  • We are visiting heritage monuments and palaces and requesting travellers not to climb on monuments or sculptures which cause damage to the structure
  • We have only one pick up from the airport. Anyone who are reaching very early, please make necessary arrangements or wait for our pick up at airport. Drop off also will do as the pick up (09:00AM will start from Udaipur hotel on Day 08)
  • Personal identification is mandatory to carry on tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reasons like: election card, Driving License, Passport
  • ⁠In the region, scarcity of water & electricity is a natural phenomenon. Guests are requested to bear such problems as may arise during the tour
  • The weather is unpredictable.
  • Rajasthan is a shopping destination for many. Those who are into shopping, we are requesting them to reach early for shopping at Jaipur and do as they like. For Udaipur you can book late flight for the same. We will not encourage any kind of delay during sightseeing due to shopping at each destination.
  • This is a thoughtfully curated, budget-friendly trip designed to offer a rich travel experience without the frills of luxury. With a small group size, it ensures a more personal, engaging, and memorable journey—perfect for those who value meaningful connections and authentic exploration.
  • Photos / Videos taken during the trip may be used for social media purposes. If anyone has concerns regarding this, please avoid participating in group photo sessions or other photographs during the trip.
Itinerary

Day 1 – Nov 15 | Arrival in Jaipur

⁠Pick-up from Jaipur Airport at 4:00 PM.
•⁠ ⁠Travelers arriving earlier can check in to the hotel by 12:00 PM and explore the city on their own. This is a great opportunity for some shopping or sightseeing.
•⁠ ⁠Recommended attractions for the day:
* Patrika Gate
* Hawa Mahal

If you’re planning to arrive a day early, we can help arrange Jaipur sightseeing, a Ranthambore safari, or any other activity of your choice. Guests interested in shopping can also make use of the extra day to explore the local markets.

Day 2 – Nov 16 | Jaipur

After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Jaipur:

• Visit the majestic Amber Fort 

• Stop at the picturesque Jal Mahal (Water Palace)

• Explore Nahargarh Fort, known for panoramic views of the city

• Tour the City Palace, a splendid blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture

Post sightseeing, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight Stay: Jaipur

Day 3 – Nov 17 | Jaipur - Bikaner (350 km | Approx. 6 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Bikaner,

• Visit the majestic Junagarh Fort.

•  Visit the unique Camel breeding and research farm in Bikaner, home to rare camel breeds.

• After visits, explore the local market places and dinner at local restaurant

Overnight Stay: Bikaner hotel

Day 4 – Nov 18 | Bikaner – Jaisalmer & Desert Experience

Early breakfast, straight drive to Jaisalmer, On arrival in Jaisalmer, and transfer to Sam Sand Dunes.

• Enjoy a camel ride during sunset

• Traditional Rajasthani cultural evening with folk dance, music, and dinner at the desert camp

Overnight Stay: Desert Camp, Jaisalmer

Day 5 – Nov 19 | Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (300 km | Approx. 5 hrs)

Early morning enjoy breakfast. Proceed for a city tour covering:

• Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Qila), a UNESCO World Heritage Site

• The intricately carved Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, and Nathmal Ki Haveli

• Scenic Gadisar Lake

In the afternoon, After drive to Jodhpur, the “Sun City” of Rajasthan.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel Time permitting, enjoy a stroll through the vibrant Clock Tower

Market. Overnight Stay: Jodhpur

Day 6 – Nov 20 | Jodhpur – Udaipur via Ranakpur (300 km | Approx. 6 hrs)

Early breakfast, and begin a sightseeing tour including:

• The imposing Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s largest forts

• Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph

Depart for Udaipur, if time allow en route visiting the exquisite Ranakpur Jain Temples, Continue

onward to Udaipur, the “City of Lakes”. Check-in upon arrival and enjoy the remainder of the evening at

leisure. Overnight Stay: Udaipur

Day 7 – Nov 21 | Udaipur Sightseeing

Post breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Udaipur’s top attractions:

• The majestic City Palace Complex overlooking Lake Pichola

• Enjoy a serene boat ride on Lake Pichola, offering views of the City Palace and Jag Mandir.

Overnight Stay: Udaipur

Day 8 - Nov 22 | Departure from Udaipur

After breakfast, check out from the hotel

Drop off to airport by 09:00AM

Why is the pickup in Jaipur and not from Kerala?

As participants are joining from across India, a centralized pickup is more manageable.

Will I have companions from my city?

Yes, after registration, you’ll be added to a group with other Appooppanthaadi travelers where you can connect with fellow participants.

Do I need to carry my bags everywhere?

No, your bags can be left in your hotel room during stays.

Should I bring my own blankets?

No, all necessary bedding will be provided by the hotels.

Can I bring my child?

Yes.
Kids below 2yr have no charges. (No seat and no extra bed)
Kids above 5yr is same as adults.

When should I reach Jaipur

Our airport pick up is at 04:00PM. Those who are reaching early or late, the hotel is 12km from the airport and Uber and Ola are available in the city. Once registration and payment are done, you will get details of your fellow travellers and can plan travel plans together.

When should I book my return tickets?

As the trip ends on day 8 night, preferably you book your tickets the next day. Check-out time is 9.00AM.

As food is not included in the itinerary, will you stop at restaurants for the same?

Of course!

What about the climate?

It will be cold at night and early in the morning. So better you carry a fleece jacket in hand for that time. Daytime will be warm.

⁠I am 50+yr old, I too can join this trip?

Yes. Age and mindset will be different from person to person. Some people trek at the age of 60+ too. So after reading the itinerary and you have to walk around to visit the fort and palaces, if you think you can do it, we are a pleasure to welcome you to the team.

After payment, if I cancel the trip, will I get a refund?

It’s strictly as per the cancellation policy which is written below. So please read it before making any payment after registration

  • Within 8 Days of Departure: 100% cancellation charges apply with no refunds.
