  • All expenses incurred due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances like road blocks and bad weather

  • Any additional costs due to weather / unforeseen situations, will have to be borne by the traveller.
  • No show and changes/cancellation of trip due to bad weather or natural calamity will be non-refundable.

Know before you go

  • Please adhere to the schedule, as this is a two-day trip covering multiple destinations.
  • Carry a water bottle for refills.
  • We will adhere to the time schedule and cannot wait for late-running trains or buses. Please book your tickets accordingly.
  • No reimbursement will be provided for unused services.
  • Since this is a monsoon trip, it will not be canceled due to rain unless road conditions become impassable or travel is deemed unsafe. In the event of a cancellation for such reasons, our standard refund policy will apply — no refunds will be provided for cancellations caused by unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters, lockdowns, or other emergencies.
  • Hot water facility is not available in the campsite toilets.
Itinerary

Day 1

09:00AM: Starting from Ernakulam South station

01:30PM: Check in to Gavi Accomodation and Lunch

03:00PM: Jeep safari to near by view points

07:00PM: Dinner followed by campfire

Day 2

06:30 AM – Check out from the accommodation and begin the Jeep Safari to Gavi.

08:30 AM – Breakfast, followed by continuation of the safari. En route, visit the Animal Skeleton Museum, enjoy a 3-hour guided trek including Sabarimala Viewpoint, and explore a spice garden along with a cardamom curing and processing unit.

12:30 PM – Lunch.

Post-Lunch – Guided boating experience on Gavi Lake, followed by a visit to the waterfalls. The safari concludes with evening tea at 4:30 PM.

04:30 PM – After the Jeep Safari, transfer back to Vandiperiyar and continue the journey to Kochi by Tempo Traveller.

11:00 PM – Drop-off at Kochi.

Why is Kochi the starting point instead of a location in Kerala?

It’s always better to choose your own comfort mode of transport and make the trip more cost-effective. Also, not all are joining from Kerala, people from other states too joining. So, picking up from everywhere is not possible.

Will I have travel companions from my city?

Yes, once registered and paid, you will be added to a group of fellow travellers. You can connect with others from your city.

Do I need to carry my bags throughout the trip?

No, you can leave your bags in your hotel room during the stay.

Can I bring my child along?

Yes, children are welcome. Charges will depend on their age group.

Do I need to bring a blanket?

No, the hotel will provide pillows, blankets, and other necessities.

 

Will there be mobile network coverage?

Yes, but the signal may be unstable at times.

Will I receive a refund if I cancel the trip?

Refunds are strictly as per the cancellation policy outlined below.

Will it rain during the trip?

Most likely, as this is a monsoon trip.

Is there a trek included in the trip?

Yes, there is 

Cancellation Policy
  • 30 Days or More Before Departure: Cancellation charges will be 25% of the tour cost.
  • Cancellations made between 29 and 15 days before departure will incur a 50% cancellation charge.
  • Cancellations made between 14 and 8 days before departure will incur a 75% cancellation charge.
  • Cancellations made within 8 days of departure will incur a 100% cancellation charge, with no refund provided.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural calamities, lockdowns, or any other contingencies.
