Upon your arrival at Gwalior Airport at 4PM, meet your driver and begin the scenic drive to the historic town of Orchha. Nestled on the banks of the Betwa River, Orchha was once the capital of the Bundela Rajput rulers and remains one of Central India’s most charming heritage destinations.
Overnight stay in Orchha.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day discovering the architectural treasures of Orchha. Begin with the impressive Orchha Fort Complex, which houses the magnificent Jahangir Mahal, built to commemorate the visit of Emperor Jahangir. Continue to Raja Mahal, known for its beautifully preserved murals depicting scenes from Hindu mythology.
Visit the unique Ram Raja Temple, the only temple in India where Lord Rama is worshipped as a king. Continue to the towering Chaturbhuj Temple, famous for its impressive height and panoramic views from the upper levels.
Later, visit the Lakshmi Narayan Temple, admired for its blend of temple and fort architecture along with remarkable frescoes. If time permits, enjoy a peaceful walk beside the Betwa River or witness the evening aarti at Ram Raja Temple, an experience that offers insight into the town’s living traditions.
Overnight stay in Orchha.
After breakfast, drive to Khajuraho through the rural landscapes of Madhya Pradesh. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Enroute if time permits, we visit Jhansi Fort.
In the evening, visit the Western Group of Temples, the finest and best-preserved section of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. These exquisitely carved temples showcase exceptional craftsmanship and depict scenes from mythology, daily life, music, dance, and spirituality.
Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
After breakfast, continue exploring the remarkable temples of Khajuraho. Visit the Eastern Group of Temples, which includes beautifully preserved Jain temples renowned for their intricate carvings and peaceful atmosphere.
Continue to the Southern Group of Temples, including Duladeo Temple and Chaturbhuj Temple, each representing the later phase of Chandela architecture.
During the afternoon, you may choose to visit the Archaeological Museum, the Tribal and Folk Art Museum, or enjoy a traditional cultural performance if available.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Khajuraho.
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning depending on your flight schedule. If time permits, visit a local handicraft shop featuring stone carvings and traditional artwork, or simply relax at your hotel.
Later, transfer to Gwalior/Kajuraho Airport for your onward flight, carrying with you memories of the magnificent temples of Khajuraho and the timeless heritage of Orchha. Airport drop off start from Hotel by 11AM

Our airport pick up is at 04:00PM. Those who are reaching early or late, airport and Uber and Ola are available in the city. Once registration and payment are done, you will get details of your fellow travellers and can plan travel plans together.

It will be cold at night and early in the morning. So better you carry a fleece jacket in hand for that time. Daytime will be warm.
Yes. Age and mindset will be different from person to person. Some people trek at the age of 60+ too. So after reading the itinerary and you have to walk around to visit the fort and palaces, if you think you can do it, we are a pleasure to welcome you to the team.
