Know before you go

  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travellers littering may be fined.
  • Carry a water bottle so that you can refill.
  • Smoking and consumption of alcohol is prohibited throughout the trip
  • We will stick to our time schedule and we will not be waiting for any late running trains/buses. Please book your tickets accordingly.
  • No reimbursement will be provided for any services of the trip that remain unused.

Day 01

01:00 PM: Pickup from Thampanoor Railway Station

02:30 PM: Arrival, registration, and check-in at Arippa Campsite

03:00 PM: Short guided walk through the tribal village

04:00 PM: Interaction with an elder tribal member, sharing stories and experiences

05:00 PM: Return to accommodation followed by evening tea

07:30 PM: Traditional tribal cultural performance

09:00 PM: Dinner

Day 02

07:00 AM: Breakfast

07:30 AM: Trekking experience including bird watching, Vakdoorya Kunnu climb, stream bathing, and a visit to the Myristica swamp

12:30 PM: Lunch

Why the joining point Trivandrum ?

As people are joining from different places, it’s difficult to manage them. So picking up from everywhere is not possible.

Will I get any companions to travel from my city?

Of course, once you register and pay, you will get added to the group of traveller who are in for this trip. There you can see other people who are travelling from your city

Do we need to carry our bags everywhere?

Yes, you should carry a small day pack with snacks and a water bottle along with you during the walk and trek.

After payment, if I cancel the trip, will I get a refund?

It’s strictly as per the cancellation policy which is written below. So please read it before making any payment after registration

Will there be leeches?

It depends on the weather. If it’s sunny, there will not be much but still we can expect leaches as it’s their territory.

When should I book my return tickets from Trivandrum?

It’s better to book a train / Bus after 5:30PM, keeping an hour buffer from our reaching time

Is there any age limit for this program?

No, it’s good to have the minimum fitness of walking the trail

Cancellation Policy
  • 30 Days or More Before Departure: Cancellation charges will be 25% of the tour cost.
  • Cancellations made between 29 and 15 days before departure will incur a 50% cancellation charge.
  • Cancellations made between 14 and 8 days before departure will incur a 75% cancellation charge.
  • Cancellations made within 8 days of departure will incur a 100% cancellation charge, with no refund provided.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural calamities, lockdowns, or any other contingencies.
