Know before you go

  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travellers littering may be fined
  • Carry a water bottle so that you can refill
  • We will stick to our time schedule and we will not be waiting for any late running trains/buses. Please book your tickets accordingly
  • Belur and Halebidu are UNESCO's world heritage sites and request travellers not to climb on monuments or sculptures which cause damage to the structure
  • Smoking and Alcohol is strictly prohibited on our trip
  • On day 2 we will check out hotel rooms and keep luggage in 2 rooms. The same rooms can be used to freshen up, before starting to Mangalore
  • All the meals included in the package are vegetarian
  • We will stick to our time schedule and we will not be waiting for any late running trains/buses. Please book your tickets accordingly
  • No reimbursement will be provided for any services of the trip that remain unused.
  • Sheethalayanagiri is not included in the itinerary as it tends to be crowded and has limited parking space. However, we may make a stop en route if parking is available
  • We will be traveling in an open pickup van from the base of the hill to Kundadri, as there are no other modes of transport available and buses do not go to the top of the hill
  • Since this is a monsoon trip, it will not be canceled due to rain unless road conditions become impassable or travel is deemed unsafe. In the event of a cancellation for such reasons, our standard refund policy will apply — no refunds will be provided for cancellations caused by unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters, lockdowns, or other emergencies.

Why is the joining point in Mangalore, why not anywhere in Kerala?

A long journey of over 15 hours by Tempo Traveller, along with interstate taxes, will make the trip quite expensive. It’s more cost-effective and comfortable to choose your own mode of transport. Additionally, since participants are joining from multiple states, arranging pickups from every location isn’t feasible

Will I get any companions to travel from my city?

Of course, once you register and pay, you will get added to the group of travelers who are in for this trip. There you can see other people travelling from your city

Does this trip include trekking?

Do we need to carry our bags everywhere?

No. You can keep the bags in the hotel while sight seeing

Cancellation Policy
  • For cancellations done prior to the 30 days or more of the date of departure, initial deposit amount or 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 29 days to 15 days prior to the date of departure, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 14 days to 8 days of the tour, 75% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done within 8 days of the tour, 100% cancellation charges will apply and you will receive no refunds.
  • No refund of money is admissible on cancellations due to any type of contingencies or unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to natural calamities, lockdowns, any covid induced scenarios or otherwise
