Know before you go

  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travellers littering may be fined.
  • Carry a water bottle so that you can refill.
  • Smoking and consumption of alcohol is prohibited throughout the trip
  • We will stick to our time schedule and we will not be waiting for any late running trains/buses. Please book your tickets accordingly.
  • The places we plan to visit experience significant crowds during the peak season, and only walk-in tickets are available. In the event of any unexpected closures, we might not have an alternative plan to offer.
  • No reimbursement will be provided for any services of the trip that remain unused.
  • Varikkasseri Mana have closures for film shooting, in that case we can reschedule the itinerary with additional places
  • ⁠If authorities issue any safety warnings concerning Seetharkund Waterfalls or entering the water there, we may cancel the visit to falls to ensure the team's safety.
  • Since this is a monsoon trip, it will not be canceled due to rain unless road conditions become impassable or travel is deemed unsafe. In the event of a cancellation for such reasons, our standard refund policy will apply — no refunds will be provided for cancellations caused by unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters, lockdowns, or other emergencies.
Itinerary

Day 1

The journey begins with a pick-up from Shornur Junction railway station, followed by a visit to the heritage site of Varikkasseri Mana. From there, explore the traditional weaving village of Kuthampully Neythu Gramam, known for its handloom artistry. After enjoying lunch, the group will proceed to the serene Vamala Murugan Temple. The day concludes with an overnight stay at the charming Kandath Tharavad, offering an authentic heritage home experience.

Day 2

After breakfast and check-out from Kandath Tharavad, the day starts with a visit to the tranquil Chingan Chira Prakrithi Kshetram, followed by a stop at Thasrak—a place made famous by literary legend O.V. Vijayan. Next, experience the natural beauty of Seetharkundu Waterfalls and explore the traditional energy space at Peringottusseri Kalam. After lunch, continue the journey with visits to Kudilidam and the scenic town of Kollengode. The trip concludes with a drop-off at Palakkad Junction railway station.

  • For cancellations done prior to the 30 days or more of the date of departure, initial deposit amount or 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 29 days to 15 days prior to the date of departure, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 14 days to 8 days of the tour, 75% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done within 8 days of the tour, 100% cancellation charges will apply and you will receive no refunds.
  • No refund of money is admissible on cancellations due to any type of contingencies or unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to natural calamities, lockdowns, any covid induced scenarios or otherwise
