This trip focuses on village exploration rather than a full Kodaikanal package. Guests keen on independent exploration are encouraged to join. Electricity may be intermittent; expect minimal facilities. Bring a refillable water bottle instead of buying mineral water.
We will be staying in separate cottages in Poondi, with food served at a central location. After check-in, you can proceed to the main property for meals.
Allow 1-2 hours of buffer time for booking return transport from Ernakulam.
Guests joining from Thrissur and Palakkad can board along the way.
Itinerary
Day 1
04:00 AM: Departure from Ernakulam Railway Station, with a breakfast stop en route.
01:00 PM: Arrival in Kodaikanal. Explore Moir Point, Guna Caves, Bryant Park, and Kodaikanal Lake (Cycling/Boating/Shopping).
Overnight Stay: Kodaikanal
Day 2
After Breakfast: Travel to Poondi Village, with stops at Poombarai Village Viewpoint and Kilavarai Village Walk.
Waterfall Trek: 2 km hike.
Overnight Stay: Poondi
Day 3
Checkout: Head back to Ernakulam, with sightseeing en route at Mannavannur Lake and Sheep Farm.
11:30 PM: Drop-off at Ernakulam Railway Station
