Know before you go

  • Personal identification is mandatory to carry on tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reason like: election card, Driving License, Passport
  • In the region, scarcity of water & electricity is a natural phenomenon. Guests are requested to bear with such problems as may arise during the tour
  • Weather is unpredictable. Water crossing and road blocks are common in this route and this may result in change in itinerary.
  • This trip is to experience the road trip to the mountains. Please come with a mind to explore the same.
  • Mobile connectivity is very poor on initial days of the trip and later it will get better.
  • We dont have sightseeing in Shimla, where we have only drop off.
  • Because of any reason natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed
  • The advisable baggage limit is 1 rucksack per member.
  • During the trip, in case the roads are blocked due to landslides or a reason that is beyond control, we will rearrange the itinerary for the travellers real-time, however, the cost of alternative accommodation will be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies and are nonrefundable.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi & Journey to Manali

  • Arrive in Delhi and board a bus to Manali.
  • Overnight journey to Manali.

Day 2: Manali Sightseeing

  • Reach Manali in the morning and check into the hotel.
  • After freshening up, visit:
    • Hadimba Temple
    • Van Vihar
    • Mall Road for shopping & leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 3: Manali to Chandratal via Rohtang Pass

  • Check out from the hotel in the morning.
  • Start the journey towards Chandratal Lake, with a scenic stop at Rohtang Pass.
  • Reach Chandratal and check into tented camps.
  • Overnight stay in Chandratal.

Day 4: Chandratal to Kaza via Kunzum La

  • Early morning walk to Chandratal Lake for sunrise.
  • Return to the tents for breakfast and check out.
  • Travel to Kaza, visiting:
    • Kunzum La Pass
    • Chicham Bridge
    • Kibber Village
    • Key Monastery
  • Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 5: Kaza to Tabo via Hikkim & Dhankar

  • After breakfast, check out and explore:
    • Hikkim Post Office (world’s highest post office)
    • Langza Village (famous for fossils)
    • Komic Monastery (one of the highest in the world)
    • Dhankar Monastery
  • Arrive in Tabo and stay overnight.

Day 6: Tabo to Nako via Gue Mummy Village

  • Check out after breakfast and head to Nako, stopping at:
    • Gue Mummy Village (home to a 500-year-old mummy).
  • Overnight stay in Nako.

Day 7: Nako to Kalpa

  • After breakfast, drive towards Kalpa.
  • Check into the hotel and visit Suicide Point for sightseeing.
  • Overnight stay in Kalpa.

Day 8: Kalpa to Chitkul

  • After breakfast, check out and head to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border.
  • Explore Chitkul and enjoy the serene beauty.
  • Overnight stay in Chitkul or Sangla.

Day 9: Chitkul to Sarahan

  • Check out from the hotel after breakfast.
  • Scenic drive to Sarahan, a beautiful hill station.
  • Overnight stay in Sarahan.

Day 10: Sarahan to Shimla & Return to Delhi

  • After breakfast, check out and drive to Shimla.
  • Board an overnight bus from Shimla to Delhi.

Day 11: Arrival in Delhi

  • Reach Delhi in the morning, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.

Why the joining point is Delhi why not anywhere in Kerala ?

As people are joining from different part of India its difficult to manage them. So picking up from everywhere is not possible.

Will I get any companions to travel from my city?

Offcourse, once you register and pay, you will get added to the group of traveller who is in for this trip. There you can see other people who travelling from your city

Do we need to carry our bags everywhere?

No. During the stay at each places you can keep the bag at your room.

Do I need to carry any blankets?

No Hotels will provide pillows, blankets and other necessities for the stay

Can I take my kid along with me in this trip?

Yes , you can. Kids above 5yr is allowed and charges are same as adults

There will be stops/breaks for lunch as its not included in the package!?

Yes offcourse but don’t expect any luxury here as all stops will have small restaurants which serve Maggie, noodles, thupka and other North indian cuisines.

When to reach Delhi on Day 1?

You can book your flights or train reaching before 4PM at Delhi

When we will be reaching on Day 11 at Delhi?

If there is no traffic we may reach by 8AM or before that at Delhi. Recommend to book your flight or train afternoon that day

  • For cancellations done prior to the 30 days or more of the date of departure, the initial deposit amount or 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 29 days to 15 days prior to the date of departure, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 14 days to 8 days of the tour, 75% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges
  • ⁠For cancellations done within 8 days of the tour, 100% cancellation charges will apply and you will receive no refunds.
  • No refund of money is admissible on cancellations due to any type of contingencies or unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to natural calamities, lockdowns, any covid induced scenarios or otherwise
