Know before you go

  • Appooppanthaadi may change the itinerary without prior notice in case of any unavoidable circumstances (natural calamities, strike, emergency, etc) and the same will be communicated to clients as soon as possible.
  • All the expenses for medical treatment for any injury or accident before, during or after the trek has to bear by the client. however, we will try to provide full support for any resource arrangement or travel arrangement.
  • Appooppanthaadi has the right to cancel all the services of the client without any further clarification and without any refund in case of misconduct (inappropriate behaviour, abusive language, use of intoxicants including alcohol, littering, etc) during the trek.
  • Refunds are not possible for any missed or unused services including the voluntary/involuntary termination of the trip on account of sickness, late arrival, inappropriate behaviour, or failed to submit declaration form, id proof, medical form, etc.
  • We have only one pick up and drop off as per the itinerary. Anyone those who want to leave early or late, can arrange their transportation on their own with the help of Buddy.

What level of fitness is expected from the trekkers?

This trek can be done by the first-time trekkers who want to familiarize themselves with High Altitude treks. However the Trek will need a basic fitness level both physical and mental. Our team will lead the workouts of team members once they add to the WhatsApp group of the trip after the registration and payment. Every member should follow the same. Those who are not prepared well for the same will have difficulty for the trek.

Why the joining point is Leh why not anywhere in Kerala ?

As people are joining from different part of India its difficult to manage them. So picking up from everywhere is not possible

Will I get any companions to travel from my city?

Offcourse, once you register and pay, you will get added to the group of traveller who is in for this trip. There you can see other people who travelling from your city

Do we need to carry our bags everywhere?

Yes, You have to carry your bags everywhere or porters

After payment, if I cancel the trip, will I get a refund?

It’s strictly as per cancellation policy which is written below. So please read it before making any payment after registration

What if the trek get cancelled or postponed due to bad weather or any government regulations, will Appooppanthaadi met our expenses for the extra stay and food?

Do I need to be highly fit for this trip?

Yes, as its a high altitude difficult trek. Those who have done himalayan trekking above 12,000ft above are recommeneded for this

Cancellation Policy
  • For cancellations done prior to the 30 days or more of the date of departure, 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 29 days to 15 days prior to the date of departure, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
  • For cancellations done between 14 days to 8 days of the tour, 75% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges
  • ⁠For cancellations done within 8 days of the tour, 100% cancellation charges will apply and you will receive no refunds.
  • No refund of money is admissible on cancellations due to any type of contingencies or unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to natural calamities, lockdowns, any covid induced scenarios or otherwise
