Itinerary
Day 1
09:00 AM: Depart from Kochi South Railway Station.
03:00 PM – 04:00 PM: Check-in at the camping location and take an off-road jeep ride to the campsite.
06:00 PM: Enjoy a short walk to a nearby viewpoint for a sunset view.
07:00 PM: Relax by a campfire with starters and soups.
08:30 PM: Dinner is served.
10:00 PM: Lights out for the night.
Day 02
04:30 AM: Wake-up call.
05:00 AM: Start a sunrise trek to Kolukkumalai Peak (approx. 1 hour).
08:00 AM: Breakfast back at the camp.
08:30 AM: Begin trekking back to the pickup point, passing through tea plantations, a community village, and waterfalls (approx. 1 hour).
11:30 AM: Depart for Trivandrum.
01:00 PM: Lunch break.
07:30 PM: Drop-off at Ernakulam South Railway Station.
FAQ
Why is the joining point in Kochi, why not anywhere in Kerala?
Long hours of journey in Tempo traveller will make the trips costly. So it’s better to choose your own comfort mode of transport and make the trip more cost-effective. Also, not all are joining from Kerala, there are people from other states too. So picking up from everywhere is not possible.
Will I get any companions to travel from my city?
Of course, once you register and pay, you will get added to the group of travelers who are in for this trip. There you can see other people travelling from your city
Do we need to carry our bags everywhere?
No. During the stay, you can keep the bag at your tent.
Can I take my kid along with me on this trip?
Yes but the charges depending on the age group 0-2yr – No charges 2-5yr – 1500rs Above 5yr – Same as adults
Do I need to carry any blankets?
No. The campsite will provide necessities for the stay
Will there be leaches?
It depends on the weather. If it’s sunny, there will not be much but still as we are camping in the forest, we can expect leaches as it’s their territory.
After payment, if I cancel the trip, will I get a refund?
It’s strictly as per cancellation policy which is written below. So please read it before making any payment after registration

Moderate and 6km
Can I sit back at camp if I don't want to trek?
No. We are reaching back to the tea plantation area from where we started by this trek. If there is any difficulty in trek, an additional cost of 2000rs will charge per jeep to come down without trek
